PHOTOGRAPHY BUSINESS

Elevate is a series of courses and follow-along sessions that covers everything from foundational principles in photography to more advanced concepts and theories that I implemented to increase the value of my business to where it is today. 

This program includes in-depth courses, lessons, and follow-along sessions that will break down my thought process on how I run my business, enter new markets and structure my pricing.

I will also talk about how I see light, build my composition, communicate and direct my couples, and how I create interesting and unique story-centered galleries.

THE 'ART OF' SERIES

The “Art of” series is a dive into the more technical aspects of photography, including light and composition. There are several courses designed to give you a deeper understanding into how I see light, with examples shown in real time, and how I choose the areas I shoot to get the best results. I also do multiple photo reviews with the goal of describing the decisions I made for each photo discussed. I talk about my composition and why I might have used foreground or background elements to get my subjects to pop out of the image. I talk about quality of light and how it can impact the overall aesthetic of each image. I go into camera settings and discuss how using various aperture and shutter speeds can create a variety of emotional reactions to a final image

THE FOLLOW ALONG SESSIONS

The “Follow-Along” sessions are fully recorded photo sessions, some real couples and some styled shoots. With me being mic’d up, you get to follow along with my shoot and hear every word I say to the couple or models, as well as some of the information I discuss while making shooting decisions.

THE BUSINESS OF PHOTOGRAPHY

My business and marketing course covers everything from pre-planning and setting up a business license, to expanding into new markets and approaching highly sought after wedding planners. I talk about a wide variety of subjects with the sole goal of allowing you to pick and choose elements that will work best for your brand and market. If you know anything about me at all, you know that I am a straight shooter. I try my best to stay away from the “fluff” and general ideas that most business owners already know. Instead, I start equipping you with the information you need to elevate your brand to the level you have always wished you could reach.
